I think it's related to my printer and it's only using generic drivers for it when I should be using the HP drivers. Hope this helps others suffering from this very annoying problem. The monitor will turn off but the system stays on. Once I did that, my screen-saver came on with no problem and the screen will go to sleep etc. Check This Out
