I just reinstalled my laptop and BOOM! My question is, how is Microsoft gaining exclusive control of system settings without authorization? Please refer to our CNET Forums policies for details. One of the first things Idid was disable desktop cleanup because I feel it is useless.

I know about virus shortcut attacks but that's not the right way to address it!
