I was going from 7, where everything looked fine, but I remember running into something like this before. Not sure. I didn't put it on my daily driver, so none of this is a huge problem.

I uninstalled "Security Update for Windows Vista (KB3013455)" which impacted TrueType fonts (MS15-010) and my issue is resolved.
