Accidentally Disabled Speakers Windows 10
You don't need to open the Sound panel like you do in Windows 7 or 8 (see next section). Click the Hardware and Sound link, then click the Sound icon or the Manage audio devices link underneath it. If an application keeps playing audio on a device you didn't set as the default, you may need to go into that application's settings and change your audio device separately. It's worth tinkering with anyway.
