Also don't simultaneously update your .NET Framework and its related KB's, let the lower version updates first then reset. Did the same thing most of us did.
Disable 'Windows Update' service.
- This happens a lot when copy&pasting code from a website.
- Exclude this update first as it may interfere or hang you in the middle KB2718704. You must make IE11 as your last update available.
- From this point I tried downloading Internet Explorer 11 offline installer, then Internet Explorer 10 offline installer (32 bit and 64 bit here) -- but none of those would install --
- Since Internet Explorer wasn't updating, it meant that he was still running a very old and outdate Internet Explorer 8 -- which is very dangerous and susceptible to exploits.

Re-enable the WU service. I did step 2 which said it was already installed and step 3 installed it. The system currently has IE9 installed. Is there a safe way to do that or is that just a bad idea?
