My Win 7 Freezes Then Self Restarts
I initially thought it was for sure a HD problem. TechSpot is a registered trademark. Where I switch it on the next morning by the Switch at the back- then pressing the Power Button = Turned on! Normally issues relating to the hard drive are repeatable, and if the drive is able to spin up are often repairable. Check This Out

Have you manually set the RAM speed, timings, and voltage to their rated specs in the BIOS? External devices: Sometimes a faulty external device like a USB Camera, Mouse, Keyboard, Gaming control etc. So, really, for the record ... About 10 mins now without shutting itself down and restarting. It was spotless.
