The errors are also random. I don't think a corrupt file would exist then. You would have been very lucky. I have tried a cmos reset already and even installed a windows 7 again ! Read More Here

I've ran a sfc /scannow with no errors reported and also re-imaged my machine using the DISM tool. The tech that built it has already replaced the memory modules hoping to solve the problem, but it didn't do the trick.

Thanks for all the help. The solution was to force the default windows driver to be installed, rather than the drivers from nVidia.
