BSOD Playing FFXIVARR.
The link in your comment is the very link I use to compare benchmark results, testing etc.The game works fine everything turned up full after clean installing nvidia driver with Nvidia TL;DR It could be your PSU. It was purchased through Dell but I have to call alienware for support. permalinkembedsavegive gold[–]Ventus Mortem (Cactuar)CopycatJoker[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago(13 children)This is what I got off of BSV on my latest crash: Dump File : 040915-18548-01.dmp Crash Time : 4/9/2015 4:47:52 PM this content
But usually I'm good to run very high or full-blast graphics. It is FF14, NOT my PC. I've had my other alienware almost 4 years and it's never had one problem. I've seen dodgy controller cables cause a BSOD. I have two alienware both through Dell and the mobo specs are the exact same as intel specs, and my GPU specs are not modified.... https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/322ah2/need_help_ffxiv_is_causing_rampant_bsod_on_my/
not the entire computer I can try that maybe but I don't think that's the reason, because my computer is getting BSOD and restarts always after the Bluescreen with the same All of my GFX settings in-game are on the absolute minimal. Also uses less juice besides being faster. I use Ccleaner for removing temp files and junk and I run tests and temperature scan weekly since I have owned this PC, AND I use benchmarking before setting up graphics
- It didn't even go to blue screen. Then after rebooting, it went grey screen again on desktop....
- Finally at my end with it and decided its time to seek out help from more knowledged people than myself.

Write down the code that it gives you. I tried everything to fix it before the graphics card issues started becoming more apparent. These are the only two PCs I have (one owned 3.5 years the other 2.5) that have never ever experienced an issue ever... The only thing I have not done that I can think of doing is reinstall the game (which is the next step), but I figured I'd come to you guys before
Deep surface scan using the OEM's tools not Dell's. It tells me GPU temps fans speed performance etc. A;lso explains why there is no grinding or clicking in hard drive and why all my other games still perform top notch. #7 Ballard View Profile View Posts 8 Jun, 2014 Icore 3930K, 580GTX GeForce.
Other games like Neverwinter will tax your CPU more (more than your GPU in crowded spots)-----If you can find a used, cheap 670, that would be a drop-in replacement for your Just need something on that doesn't eat much memory. So my GPU is fine it's just having memory leak issues with this game. I HIGHLY DOUBT IT.

My money is on faulty CPU. BSOD Help and Support BSOD always received when playing FFXIVNot entirely sure what's causing this, i have received 3 so far 2 while playing ffxiv and one while attempting to post PICS ONLY! check my blog All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries.
I've had this BSOD a second time now within two months and it's getting me a bit worried. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]R'khon Tia on GilgameshRMutah 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago(0 children)Absolutely! Oh, and the game runs at 80, which is warm but nothing a 580GTX can't handle. to no avail.
Otherwise, if you run the "vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0x124 crash has occurred, start installing updates and applications slowly, always pausing between successive additions Lastly, I wouldn't call this a Dell PC by any means. It's a 770 gtx card and 8 core processor Hi TribalJake ^_^, A single table fan should be more than enough to check it out whether it is really the overheating I'd first like to point out I have never had a similar situation.

It all started on 8/14 and I checked out the forums and internet seeking the answer but did not find anything definitive. The sound issue sounds like a bug that has been in the game since beta that they never fixed, restarting the game is the only way I have heard of fixing I have been on my PC but as I've said it doesn't BSoD unless I'm on FFXIV, so time will tell. The mindumps all show a memory exception (trying to read an invalid memory address) with an id of WIN7_DRIVER-FAULT and a failing process_name of GameOverleyUI, which again suggests this may be
Updated one of the drivers and ran the program full screen and it got to 88 then nosedived to 83 like the other. For example Doom 3 used to crash on very specific occasions on one of my computers a long time ago, while everything else seemed to work just fine. Rarely in MMOs do I see anyone in dungeons care about each other. permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]nerfatlas20mm 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago(2 children)is your card overclocked?
