Fix up your registry as well by downloading cc cleaner (use other registry cleaners too ) and also malwarebytes (even if you dont have malware ) . You could have a process preventing shut down (although Windows will usually tell you so) or something corrupted preventing normal shutdown.A third party utility might reveal whats happening.
