The system has a Pentium 4 CPU, 3BG RAM, and an 80 GB hard drive. The hard drive was reformatted and a fresh copy of XP32 was installed.

  • If you don't know what you're blocking, I find it curious that you'd block it "just in case" - not knowing if it'll affect your system adversely or not.
  • However, I think 10 passes are overkill... 5 passes establish with near certainty whether or not your memory is at fault.
