Running Windows XP, and Norton Antivirus (If it's a virus or such.) (Side note, I'm using a laptop.) I can't remember for sure if I'm missing any steps, but for the most part it's self explanatory. See if you can get as far as the BIOS screen to change the boot order so it can boot from the CD. So I went into the BIOS changed the boot priority so that HDD was first and solved the issue. Same exact problem - black screen, blinking cursor, no response.
- Possible Solutions Performing the following options (in the order they are listed) may help to ‘fix’ the problem.

- The issue of no display (including boot screen) normally means no post.
